Professional Service Rate
The fee for a regular individual therapy session is $150. In addition to weekly appointments, I charge $150 an hour for other professional services you may need. Other services include psychological testing, report writing, telephone conversations lasting longer than 15 minutes, consulting with other professionals with your permission, preparation of records or treatment summaries, and the time spent performing any other service you may request of me.

Payment
Payment is due at the end of each session unless I accept your insurance benefits. If your plan is not covered or only partial payment is provided; cash, check and credit cards (VISA & MasterCard) will be accepted at the time of service for the uncovered balance. I reserve a small number of client openings with a sliding fee scale for those experiencing financial hardship.

Cancellation Policy
There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you miss your appointment without providing 24 hour notice, you will be charged the full fee for the missed session.

Insurance

I am on the insurance panel of MHN. I am considered "Out of Network" for all other insurance companies.

However, if I am not a network provider for your insurance, you may still have out-of-network coverage. Contact your insurance company, make a request for mental health or behavioral health services and ask about coverage for an out-of-network provider. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan.

Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Are there any pre-approval requirements?

Clients who pay out-of-pocket will be provided a receipt which can be used to submit to your insurer, to your benefits department for reimbursement via a health savings account, or for income tax purposes.
